People of all ages love the Disney characters so it is no wonder that Disney scrapbooking is always a popular theme. Of course, there is no substitute for actually visiting one of the Magical Kingdoms but you can create your own Disney scrapbooking pages and enjoy Mickey, Donald and all of the more modern Disney characters. There are so many Disney scrapbooking products that it is impossible to list them all but it is worth remembering that you can always design your own rather than buying the more expensive genuine Disney items.
Disney scrapbooking items are overwhelmingly dominated by stickers but there are also other items that you can buy. If you use your imagination you can by Disney cards and paper or even go for some of the more unusual items such as paper tableware, napkins and other party goods. Thrift stores can be a great source of pieces to use for your Disney Scrapbooking Project, especially books. There have been so many Disney books that there are nearly always some for sale in a thrift shop and the pictures can be used to add an extra dimension to your Disney scrapbooking album.
Many people enjoy drawing their own Disney characters but for those who are a little less artistic there are a number of colouring pictures available with a Disney theme that can be used on Disney scrapbooking pages. These may be fairly large as they are often used as children’s posters but it is easy to have them scanned in and reduced so that they are the perfect size to fit your Disney scrapbooking page. Children can get involved at a very young age and the Disney scrapbooking theme is bound to keep them engaged and interested, as long as teaching them the beginnings of their first scrapbooking project.
The ultimate Disney scrapbooking project would be one that is themed around an actual visit to a Walt Disney theme park or other Disney event. Even a trip to the local Disney store could be documented in a scrapbook to add a novel twist to the topic of Disney scrapbooking. Disney characters often make appearances at fetes or charity events and there is always a Disney on Ice show or other theatre event that could all prove to be the inspiration for your Disney scrapbooking project. Whatever your inspiration, your Disney scrapbooking project is sure to be colourful and attractive to children and adults and a wonderful keepsake that can be enjoyed whilst being made and for years after.
